Join us for an exciting 4-hour working sail—all experience levels welcome! This is a hands-on adventure where everyone participates. Learn the ropes, trim the sails, and enjoy the thrill of sailing together. Come ready to work, learn, and have fun on the water!
🌊 Mixed Experience Levels Welcome
The 4-hour sails are open to students at different stages of their sailing journey. Beginners, returners, and advancing students all sail together. Offering opportunities to reinforce learning, observe different techniques, and build confidence through shared experience.
👩🏫 Experienced, Senior Instructors
You’ll learn from our most seasoned instructors, whom have hundreds of hours on the water and years of teaching under their belts. They bring not just technical skill, but patience, adaptability, and real-life insights.
⛵ Training on a Larger, More Comfortable Boat
The new program takes place aboard a larger keelboat on of our Catalina 320s, offering more room to move and most importantly a head (toilet)!

After years of inspiring new sailors through their passion and expertise, our dear friends Dave & Patti Crumbley of Windsong Sailing are officially sailing off into retirement! We’re incredibly grateful for the community they’ve built and the many students they’ve guided onto the water with skill and heart.
We’re honored to announce that Lanier Sailing Academy will be carrying the torch, having acquired their sailing program for the 2026 season. This means their legacy will live on with many of the same great offerings, now integrated into our expanded curriculum.
WHAT TO BRING:

WEATHER POLICY:
We sail under all kind of weather conditions. Yes, even rain! Check the weather before you come and dress appropriately. If the Dock Master deems the weather too bad for sailing, we will let you know ASAP. If we have to cancel the sail a full refund will be issued.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
Cancelations within 4 days of the sail are only eligible for a 50% refund.
Reschedule within 4 days of the sail are subject to a $15 reshedule fee.
